Sakhalin region has joined “Red Tulip” all-Russian action that was organized by Anti-HIV/AID Social fund. Specialists of the Sakhalin Regional HIV/AIDS Center  keep conducting trainings, seminars in dormitories, colleges and institutes. Participants of these seminars have made about 300 paper tulips. Out of all collected tulips a red ribbon was made by volunteers.

Completion of “Red Tulip” action on Sakhalin took place in a conference-room of the Regional AIDS Center on the 1^st of December, where the action devoted to World-wide Day of Fight against AIDS was held. The specialists of AIDS Center, representatives of the Department of Health Protection of Sakhalin region, journalists participated in this action. Representatives of Sakhalin Energy Investment Company who also took part in this action granted 10 000 condoms for groups of risk and $10 000 to support informational-prophylactic activity for youth.
